Equatorial Guinea won in Botswana on Tuesday March 28 (3-2). Emilio Nsue opened the scoring for Equatorial Guinea in the 13th minute. Lebogang Ditsele scored against his side (40th) and Alex Balboa scored the third goal for the Nzalang Nacional. Botswana, who scored through Mbatshi Elias and Kabelo Seakanyeng, could no longer claim a ticket to the finals if Tunisia win or draw in the evening. Egypt went 4-0 away against Malawi (4-0). Tarek Hamed opened the scoring following a withdrawal from Mohamed Salah (4th). Then Omar Marmoush distinguished himself (16th) before Salah (20th), and Zizo (49th). The Pharaohs thus regain control of Group D, tied with Guinea. After being held in check at home by Eswatini (0-0), Cape Verde won 1-0 with a goal from Ryan Mendes (56th). This success allows the Requins Bleus to stay in the race with second place in group B, behind Burkina Faso.
