Continuing to release new iOS updates for iPhones, Apple finally offered iOS 15.3 to users. The iOS 15.3 update closed a dangerous WebKit-focused vulnerability in Safari that allowed a website to monitor sensitive user information. Less than a month after the iOS 15.3 update, Apple released the iOS 15.3.1 update and the iPadOS 15.3.1 update for iPads.
WHAT DOES iOS 15.3.1 BRING?
The iOS 15.3.1 update fixes an issue that could cause Braille displays to stop responding, according to Apple’s release notes. In addition, important security updates for the iPhone are also included in this new version. A security support document released by Apple shows that the software has addressed a WebKit bug that could allow maliciously crafted web content to lead to arbitrary code execution.
