Apple continues to take steps to release new iOS updates for iPhones. Introducing iOS 15 in September, the company finally offered the iOS 15.2.1 version of iOS 15 to users. As far as is known, the iOS 15.2.1 update did not bring any noticeable innovations or changes to users, fixed bugs on iPhones and increased security. Not long after the release of iOS 15.2.1, Apple this time rolled out the iOS 15.3 update to iPhone users. The update came to the devices yesterday evening.
WHAT DOES iOS 15.3 BRING?
The most important feature of iOS 15.3, which came out with iPadOS 15.3, is that it closes a dangerous vulnerability in Safari. If you remember, a WebKit-oriented vulnerability was found in the Safari browser recently. This much talked about vulnerability allowed a website to track sensitive user information. It was previously said that Apple is aware of the bug and will release a fix. As a matter of fact, with the iOS 15.3 update, that fix was released and the error was fixed.
The iOS 15.3 update fixes many more problems. That’s because Apple’s release note says exactly “Includes bug fixes and security updates for your iPhone. Recommended to all users.” uses the expression.
