Google has released the first developer preview of Android 13. Thus, some clues about what we might see in Google’s Android update this year have emerged.
It is stated that among the new features of Android, there are changes such as updated theme options and privacy features, new language controls.
After Material You-focused Android 12, Android 13 reportedly expands dynamic app icons to all apps except Google’s apps.
The new version introduces a photo picker that allows users to share photos and videos with apps, and a new Wi-Fi permission to further reduce the need for apps to have location permission. Google plans to bring this feature to all phones running Android 11 and higher.
While it is stated that there are many more changes in Android 13, the stable version of the new version is expected to be released in June or July.
