Golf: The storm postpones Åberg’s pursuit of victory

After three fine rounds, Ludvig Åberg had positioned himself in second place in the hunt for his second title on the PGA Tour, one stroke behind leader Wyndham Clark.

But the fourth round will have to wait.

A severe storm has taken hold of the competition, whose fourth and final round is now postponed until Monday, announces the PGA Tour. The tour writes in a statement that the weather, among other things, creates problems with safety on the course.

Should Åberg finish second, which in such cases is his second best result on the PGA Tour, he collects SEK 23 million. The winner of the cash-strapped competition receives SEK 38 million.
