Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The Italian was quickly taken to hospital, but hopes to be back in the Swiss Alport already during the evening to be able to start in Saturday’s downhill race.

Goggia has had many injuries throughout her career and last winter she crashed and damaged a ligament in her knee and fractured her leg with two weeks to go before the Beijing Olympics. She managed to make it to the Olympics where she took silver in the downhill.

National team mate Elena Curtoni won Friday’s downhill race in St Moritz.
