“Goes against what we stand for”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Bach expresses in a letter that has been sent to the Olympic Committee of Ukraine, that it is “very regrettable” that they are pressuring other countries to boycott.

It was in January that the IOC opened to allow Russia and Belarus to compete in the Olympics under a neutral flag. Ukraine reacted with anger, saying that Russia was waging a war.

“Threatening a boycott goes against the Olympic movement. It goes against what we stand for,” writes Bach and then points out that there have not yet been any concrete discussions about Russia’s and Belarus’ possible participation in the Olympics.
