In our Godlike Burger review content, where we are the chef of a hamburger restaurant in space, we take a look at the general dynamics of the game.
As can be understood from the name Godlike Burger, it is one of the kind of productions we call a cooking game, which we have seen many examples of lately. But there are many different features that distinguish this game from others. Because in order to be successful in the game and increase the profitability of your business, you must first feed your customers and then kill them and continue your raw material continuity. Now let’s look at the general dynamics of this different cooking game together.
Godlike Burger review
Developed by the Liquid Pug team, Godlike Burger has a different process where you have to kill the customers who come to your restaurant and pass them through a meat grinder. Although the general logic of the game is based on this, it also has a section structure where the challenge increases with different planets. This process, which we can call quite a lot, is getting even more fun with dynamics such as bribing the police. At least, I can say that it is one of my favorite aspects of the game in this regard that it stands out from the classic cooking games.
When you open the game, it can be a little difficult to figure out how it works. Especially its dynamics are fast and it has a structure that you need to think fast accordingly. That’s why the production team added a pretty self-explanatory tutorial mode called Tutorial to the game. Before starting the game, I recommend that you finish this section like a beginner cook. Here, you have the necessary information about the dynamics of cooking, how to eliminate your customers without any problems, and their psychology.
Of course, since all our customers are aliens, their tastes are a little different from ours. For this reason, we recycle all the customers we cut with our hands abundantly. You can upset them and eliminate them as soon as they go to the toilet, or you can make them go out for cigarettes and squeeze them in a secluded place.
The customers you kill go into the meat grinder first, and then into your fridge at the end of the day, and they turn into a kind of taste stop for new customers. Our cook, who does not waste the ingredients like an ordinary killer, takes advantage of every part of our alien friends. Of course, before we get to this point, let’s go back to the moment we opened the shutter.
In the Godlike Burger game, we control a cook who pays his bills, puts his life into his teeth to buy new ingredients, and sometimes gets blood on his hands. When customers first enter the restaurant, there is a phase of reflection. Some play table football, some can stop by the strip club in the back hall. You can kick the ass of the customers who hang around and realize that they won’t buy anything and throw them out of the restaurant. Of course, if you can squeeze and knock it down in seclusion, you’ll get extra snow, let me tell you.
The orders of the customers who are in the decision stage start to flow from the left side. Some like onions in their burgers, some like cheese and some like tomatoes. You try to prepare all orders accordingly. All the ingredients you have are in the cupboard, and after you put the ingredients such as bread, greens or tomatoes on the hot counter, you put your meat (old customers) on the stove to cook. The point you need to pay attention to here is not to burn the meat too much, if you do not take it from the stove on time, they become coal and you can miss the customer when you want to cook it again. Another point you need to pay attention to is to fix the broken tools by kicking them. After we cook the meat and arrange all the ingredients, we put the hamburger at the delivery point with the logic of come and take it. If you have done everything right and caught the taste, the customer even leaves a tip on the hamburger money.
Of course, as I said, at the end of the day, the material starts to run out. Although you order different types of bread, tomatoes, onions or cheese at the end of the day, which we can call the main base of the game, you have to take your customers down for some special sauces and meat supply.
In this operation, it is for your profit to take your customer’s money first, and then make them eat their hamburger. With a sauce you give, you can upset your customer’s stomach and neutralize your customer, who goes to the toilet after receiving the payment, with line strokes here. Of course, their hands do not collect bread either. If you are not careful, you may have to play all day from scratch. After handling the customer, you remove the body, wash your hands and continue to work. If you get caught by another customer during this time, things can get messy. It goes all the way to the police and at the end of the day, you either lose the game or you may have to bribe the police a lot. Especially in the later stages of the game, this money you give may even lead to your bankruptcy.
As you progress in the Godlike Burger game, you learn many dynamics such as recording customer habits, and all this process allows you to dominate the game more and act faster. The game also includes the dynamics of slowing down and accelerating time. However, despite such different dynamics, a similar experience awaits you at the end of the day, and the game starts to become very ordinary after a short time. In fact, although the concept is good, I can say that it is a game that cannot branch out this concept too much. This caused you to get bored with the game in a short time and these different dynamics became commonplace.
As a result, as I said, Godlike Burger has managed to stand out from similar cooking games with its different operation. But when it comes to applying this beautiful dynamic it has, it cannot diversify and prevent it from becoming ordinary. On the other hand, it is very difficult to play with the keyboard, but when you plug in a controller, you get a more fluid experience from the game. Let me remind you that the menu and all subtitles of the game are in Turkish. If you like cooking games and such productions, you can try the game. There is also a demo version on the Steam page.
