Earlier this year, a leak on 4chan revealed that Sony was planning to bring several of its exclusive games to the PC platform, including The Last of Us Part II, Ghost of Tsushima, Demon’s Souls, Gran Turismo 7, and God of War Ragnarok. Now, Sony has detailed the PC system requirements for God of War Ragnarok. The game is available for pre-order on Steam and the Epic Games Store, and will be available to play on September 19th.

God of War Ragnarok requires at least 8GB of RAM (16GB recommended), a modern version of Windows, and 190GB of hard drive space. These requirements make the game one of the big PC games, like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, while games like Call of Duty still reign supreme.
Despite its monstrous storage requirements, God of War Ragnarok is a relatively light game in terms of resources. Since God of War 2016 didn’t require a high-end PC, the sequel does the same. It also supports AI-powered upscaling and frame rendering technologies like Nvidia DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3.1, and Intel XeSS.
