As is the case every Monday, SELL and GfK take stock of the best video game sales in France. Unsurprisingly, God of War Ragnarök (PS5) dislodges Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II from first place in the Top 5 consoles, with Activision’s flagship FPS dropping to third position. Because the second place also goes to the masterpiece of SIE Santa Monica Studio, but it is the PS4 version this time. FIFA 23, he manages to hang on in fourth position – he loses a place compared to last week – just ahead of the PS5 version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. For the record, God of War Ragnarök obtained a nice 19 out of 20 in our columns, Arnaud highlighting in particular the “breathtaking staging which multiplies the spectacular or moving passages.“
On PC, there is change. Indeed, FIFA 23, which occupied the first place, is ejected by Football Manager 2023. We find Farming Simulator 22, while The Sims 4 replaces Minecraft Java & Bedrock on the last step.
