A Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (Steam) player shared a clip on Reddit of himself taking out the entire opposing team with a single shot.
Probably every shooter fan knows the joyful feeling that overcomes you when you hit a shot you didn’t think you could hit.
A shot that is beyond your ability or based on pure luck. Sometimes it even happens that skill and luck combine and suddenly the question arises: “What just happened?”
The Reddit user “njhypeisdad” landed such a shot a few days ago in Valve’s tactical shooter CS:GO when he hit and killed all five opponents with a single shot.
Gamer becomes a brave little tailor – Get 5 in one go
What was that shot? What initially sounds like a gamer modification of the well-known fairy tale “The Brave Little Scheider” was posted by “njhypeisdad” in a video on Reddit.
For his art shot, “njhypeisdad” uses the AWP, a powerful sniper rifle. He confidently hits the first player, as it was probably intended.
Then follows the part that could be described as “pure luck”: All five opponents ran in a row one behind the other. When “njhypeisdad” hits the first player, the bullet goes through him and also catches every opponent running behind, who all die one after the other.
The clip of the art shot is a total of 39 seconds, of which about 29 seconds are running and preparation, then the shot comes, followed by almost 8 seconds of incredulous roaring. After three days, the post has over 18,600 upvotes (as of April 12, 7:30 p.m.).

“Has this ever been done legally before?”
How is the community reacting? When “njhypeisdad posted his clip on Reddit, he asked if it was rare. He has never seen anything like this himself. And the answer from the community is a resounding “yes”.
One user says the chance of being shot is “one in a billion.”
Of course, the shot wasn’t planned that way. It was a lucky hit with maximum collateral damage and at least one grenade that did enough damage beforehand. But the lucky shooter is happy to accept that and is rightly happy about the incredible clip.
Since CS:GO will be replaced by Counter-Strike 2 in the summer of 2023, it is also very likely that this shot will not be surpassed until the release of the successor.
