(Finance) – The value ofIGI index (Italian Gas Index) for October 18th it was equal to €40.77/MWh, down compared to October 17th which stood at €41.06/MWh.
The index, calculated daily by Energy Markets Manager – GMEprovides a tool for interpreting and evaluating the dynamics observed on the gas markets in Italy and is proposed as a transparent and replicable reference by operators for hedging operations and/or supply contracts.
