On January 12 and 13, in the region of Djibo, in the north of Burkina Faso, about sixty women were kidnapped by jihadist groups while they were going into the bush to try to find something to eat. Arbinda, where these kidnappings took place, is an area under blockade by jihadists, with difficulty being supplied with food.
