The Glasshouse Nursery will light up the sky Saturday with a free fireworks show.

The 5 pm event, featuring fireworks at 6:30 pm live music by Hideaway and family-friendly activities, will take place at the store at 56 Creek Rd. in Chatham, a release said. The store will also be open until 9 p.m.

“We are thrilled to host this fireworks event and provide our community with an evening of excitement and entertainment,” said nursery owner Dave Van Raay.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for families and friends to come together and celebrate,” he added. “We wanted to thank our community for supporting our local business this year.”
Attendees can expect a breathtaking fireworks, combining “traditional favorites with innovative and unique fireworks effects,” the release said.
There will be free hot chocolate, marshmallow roasts and other activities for families, it said, and a variety of food vendors on site.
All are welcome and parking is available on site. Admission is free, but the store is accepting donations of non-perishable food items for Outreach for Hunger all weekend.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure their spot and enjoy the pre-show activities, the release said
