KNIVES DRAWN 2. “Glass Onion” is the second installment in Rian Johnson’s “Knives Out” franchise. A third film is already planned, but when should it be released?

We find Benoît Blanc, the private detective ofAt daggers drawn embodied by Daniel Craig, ready to solve a new investigation in Greece. This second episode is part of a trilogy developed by director Rian Johnson with the streaming giant.
A third episode ofAt daggers drawnwhich would therefore be a sequence of Glass Onion, should therefore be released in the next few years. However, no date has yet been communicated by Netflix. However, we can hope to see the film in 2024 (at least that’s what the IMDB site announces), within two years, since that’s about the time that elapsed between the release ofAt daggers drawn in 2019 and the release of Glass Onion with a global pandemic in the meantime. For now, the cast or the plot are not known. We just know that Rian Johnson will be back to direct, with Daniel Craig still in the cast as the hilarious detective.
Should we see Knives Out before Glass Onion?
If you haven’t seen HAS knives drawn before throwing Glass Onion, we warmly recommend you to see it (it is also available on Netflix), in order to immerse yourself in this tribute to Agatha Christie, the humor of Rian Johnson and to discover the hilarious Benoît Blanc. However, you can see Glass Onion without knowing the first episode, since the investigation is completely independent and completely understandable for all those who discover this police comedy.
Daniel Craig is also the only actor in At daggers drawn to come back later, Glass Onion. However, he is surrounded by big names in the seventh art. Among the suspects of this new Greek investigation, we meet here Edward Norton (fightclub)Janelle Monae (Antebellum), Kathryn Hahn (Wanda vision), Leslie Odom Jr. (hamilton), Jessica Henwick (iron fist, Matrix Resurrection), Madelyn Cline (The Originals), Kate Hudson (best enemies) and Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy).
