It is in fact the sequel to At daggers drawn, film released in 2019 and critical success at the cinema. Rian Johnson returns to direct, along with Daniel Craig as the inimitably accented detective Benoît Blanc, who finds himself solving a never-before-seen case while on vacation in Greece.
If you haven’t seen HAS knives drawn before throwing Glass Onion, we warmly recommend you to see it (it is also available on Netflix), in order to immerse yourself in this tribute to Agatha Christie, the humor of Rian Johnson and to discover the hilarious Benoît Blanc. However, you can see Glass Onion without knowing the first episode, since the investigation is completely independent and completely understandable for all those who discover this police comedy.
Daniel Craig is moreover the only actor of At daggers drawn to come back later, Glass Onion. However, he is surrounded by big names in the seventh art.
