Region Skåne pays damages to a woman for the treatment she was subjected to during her birth but refuses to admit fault. Now the woman is pushing the matter further, Vårdfokus writes.
– The region is trying to pay off its responsibility, says Olivia Möller, lawyer at the Center for Justice, to Vårdfokus.
The woman sued the region after her delivery when a midwife gave so-called external pressure and pressed, against the woman’s will, on her stomach to hasten the birth.
