A 16-year-old girl from Blekinge was arrested at a hotel in Stockholm on suspicion of an imminent murder plot. Now she is sentenced to closed youth care for two years and eight months for attempted murder, BLT reports.
The girl, who had just turned 17, was on the run from a treatment center when she was arrested last September. According to the indictment, she was in Stockholm together with several co-suspects for murdering three people, including two young men with gang connections.
Her role, according to the prosecutor, consisted of taking care of the murder weapons and arranging an apartment for two shooters who would carry out the murders. She is also said to have kept the intended victims in a hotel lobby while waiting for the shooters to arrive.
At the last moment, the murder plan was stopped by the police, who raided the hotel and arrested the girl.
She is now sentenced against her denial for attempted murder, Solna District Court announces. A total of six people between the ages of 15 and 23 are sentenced for involvement, reports P4 Gotland.
