Day 16 in the jungle camp: Nerves are frayed. No wonder, because the celebrities are about to enter the final. With the finish so close, they have to use all their reserves of strength so that they don’t run out of breath in the final meters. During a particularly extreme jungle test, the legends are once again put to the test. Really nasty: The winner of the test gets a ticket to the final, the loser has to leave the show immediately.
Jungle test or sitting around lazily: the stars have the choice
RTL always comes up with something new to surprise the celebrities in the jungle camp. Shortly before the finale, the remaining campers are given a choice: Do they want to “Team Courage” or rather “Team Tactics”? The stars don’t find out what it’s all about at first. Before the campers can decide on one of the teams, two places are filled by RTL: Sonja Zietlow puts Kader Loth in the “Tactics Team” and explains that the next jungle test is simply too tough for the aging diva. Sarah Knappik is also put in the tactics team – the reason: the day before she refused to take the test due to back problems.
Danni Büchner, Gigi Birofio and Georgina Fleur show a willingness to take risks and sign up for “Team Courage”. They are happy to accept that an extreme jungle test awaits them. The remaining Mola Adebisi is as reserved as ever – and promptly chooses “Team Tactics”.
Three have to compete in the jungle test, only two return
What fate awaits “Team Tactics” is still unknown. The three remain unsuspecting in the camp. “Team Courage”, however, is facing one of the most extreme tests in the show’s history. In the game “Knowledge Makes Ahhhhh”, the celebrities have to answer tricky questions – while balancing on a wooden plank above a ravine. Whoever gives a correct answer can lower the competitor’s plank, but everyone has to be quick: if the plank is lowered too far, the celebrities slide into Game Over.

What Gigi Birofio, Georgina Fleur and Danni Büchner don’t yet know: whoever falls off the plank first has to leave the show immediately. The three of them engage in a bitter mud fight; in the end, a jungle legend has to pay the price: Danni Büchner can no longer stay on the plank and slides to her doom. Shortly before the finale, her jungle dream is over. After all, she had fulfilled her goal: she wanted to present herself from a new side in the summer jungle.
Gigi Birofio is in the jungle camp final: He can secure the ticket
Danni Büchner is out, but Gigi and Georgina are forced into a second round. Whoever lasts longer is guaranteed a place in the final. Fleur does her best, but jungle macho Gigi Birofio is able to win against the experienced reality diva, completely unexpectedly. Gigi wins the game and is safely in the final. Georgina Fleur has to go back to camp. We won’t find out until the last episode whether she can secure a place in the final.
