A Woodstock-based telecom provider has been on a gift-giving spree in recent days as part of its annual holiday campaign.

Throughout December, Execulink Telecom has been presenting $500 donations to a local charities, non-profits and other community agencies through its Gifts of Christmas program.

The most recent – given on the eighth day of the campaign – was accepted by Ingamo Homes, a Woodstock non-profit that provides second-stage housing and other supports to women and children escaping domestic violence.
“We are thrilled to help the amazing non-profit organizations, groups, and charities within the communities we serve. We are proud to support their causes and hope the Gifts of Christmas program helps them to achieve their goals in the coming year,” Execulink president and CEO Ian Stevens said in a release.
This year’s sixth annual campaign launched earlier this month with a donation to Tillsonburg’s Multi-Service Center, which promotes accessible community services, including home support, employment and literacy programs, in Oxford, Elgin and Norfolk counties.

The company then donated to the Kettle Point detachment of the Anishinabek Police Service for its annual Christmas dinner for area seniors.
The campaign’s third gift was received by Next Wave Youth, a Strathroy-based non-profit that offers housing and career services, among other programs, for area youth.
Fourth on the list was Food$Kids Waterloo Region, an organization that delivers nutritious food packages to vulnerable at-risk children when they’re not in school.
Komoka’s Kee-Mo-Kee Camp, which offers a variety of summer and winter camps, as well as outdoor education programs, was the recipient of the fifth gift, while the snack program at Norfolk County’s Port Rowan public school was the beneficiary of the sixth .
The seventh giftee in the Execulink campaign was the Ailsa Craig Food Bank, which provides monthly food hampers to individuals and families struggling with financial hardship.
Launched in 2018 with the aim of giving back to local charities within Execulink’s service region, the Gifts of Christmas program will have helped 58 local charities and non-profits by the end of this year’s campaign.
Given its success, and the appreciation of its recipients, Execulink officials said they “aim to continue this tradition for years to come.”
