Gifted Omar 7 has been at home for over a

Omar became increasingly difficult at school. He no longer wanted to participate, started tagging other children and was seen as a difficult child. In group two his behavior became increasingly worse and at one point he had to be picked up from school regularly. “It is no longer feasible for a teacher at the moment of giving.” Shivanni and her husband ensured that Omar was given an intelligence test, which officially showed him to be gifted. “There is little knowledge about this,” says Shivanni. “It is often thought that a child learns easily if they are gifted and that they can get by with a book in the corner of the classroom.
