– I think it’s cool to put up with. It was as if he was walking towards my skates. I don’t know, Nylander spun to Expressen.
Nylander overthrew Batherson in his own defense. From the TV image, it looked like Batherson stumbled on Nylander’s feet.

Sweden led the match two more minutes before the end with two goals, however Pierre-Luc Dubois brought the Canadians to the top of the goal with a time of 58.07. Half a minute later, Barzal threw an easy shot from the knuckle that went Linus Ullmarkin from the armpit to the network.

– This is shit. We had a good lead, but Canada had good times and Linus played a good match. But they got way too many shots, defender Dahlin commented on Aftonbladet.
– This feels very heavy. We had something really good going on.
Head coach criticized
Last time as head coach in Sweden Johan Garpenlöv did not escape criticism after the match. SVT expert Jonas Anderssonin according to Sweden played too much in terms of defense.
– Sweden retreated too early and defended its territory. Leading players and coaches have a responsibility in a situation like this to make sure the team doesn’t end up in a defensive stance, Andersson said.
Sweden, led by Garpenlöv, did not make it to the playoffs last year. At the Olympics, Sweden was left without a medal when it bowed to Slovakia in a bronze medal match.
– I wish him success here. He is an immensely sympathetic person and he knows a lot. But his performance as head coach is poor and this is a big failure. There is no other way to see this, Andersson summed up.
