Netflix is flexing its muscles. In the annual mega trailer for the year’s new releases, the streaming service whets the appetite for various series and films that will be released in 2024. You can also see a short sequence from Squid Game Season 2.

Not just Squid Game Season 2: Netflix delivers lots of sci-fi, fantasy and action
As the Netflix trailer shows at the very end, Squid Game protagonist Gi-Hun (Lee Jung-jae) is on the road again, now with dashing red-dyed hair. The thrill is back too: Gi-Hun receives a worrying call and has to… “momentous decision” meet, as the press release states.
The first images from Squid Game Season 2 were also revealed. They show two old acquaintances. Lee Byung-hun is back as front man, while Gong Yoo once again takes on the role of salesman. The biggest new addition In season 2, the actress is Park Gyu-young, known from the Netflix series Sweet Home.
