Ghana wants to keep Burkinabe refugees away from border areas

In Ghana, the authorities are taking measures for Burkinabè refugees who are in the north of the country. With the help of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the Ghana Refugee Board opened a center in the Upper East region in June, with a capacity of 4,000 people. The Ghanaian authorities want to keep the refugees away from the border area for security reasons.
