An adjustment for your dragon in World of Warcraft is only available for a few days. Collectors should act now before the chance is gone.
In World of Warcraft, recurring in-game events take place at regular intervals. Many of them are several years old and the Moon Festival is also one of them. Thanks to a revision in the course of the last patches, there are some new rewards for almost all events. If you want to secure it, you should work hard – because the cosmetic adjustments for your dragon will soon disappear again.
What kind of event is this? The Moon Festival is a recurring event in World of Warcraft and is loosely based on Chinese New Year. In Azeroth, the festival is mainly celebrated by night elves and druids, who tell different stories about the moon goddess Elune and commemorate the ancestors who can be found all over the world.
You can earn most rewards by visiting the ancestors and receiving coins from them, which you can then exchange at the merchant. This includes some transmog rewards, but also recipes for fireworks and more.
However, you will get the new reward differently – you only have to pay gold.
What kind of adjustment is this? The Slithering Crawler Dragon: Moon Festival Armor customization gives your Crawler Dragon a reddish-gold armor reminiscent of Chinese dragons. This is only a partial adjustment, i.e. only the dragon’s armor – you can adjust all other aspects, such as the color, claw or jaw shape, independently.
If you want the customization for your dragon, you have to put an impressive 50,000 gold on the table. This should be affordable for long-time players, but newbies will probably have to farm for a few hours to earn the gold.
You can find the “Lunar Festival Armor” at any Lunar Festival merchant, such as in Orgrimmar (Horde) or at the gates of Stormwind (Alliance).
How long do you have? The Moon Festival lasts 14 days. It starts today, February 3rd and is active until February 16th. Until then you have time to earn the new adjustment as well as all other rewards.
By the way, the Moon Festival coins have a special feature because they do not expire after the event ends. If you are still missing rewards, you can save the tokens until next year. For almost all other events, the currency disappears after the event ends.
