Twisters, which opened in cinemas in July, stands, apart from a few allusions, as Sequel to the 90s cult film Twister is a stand-out film, but that doesn’t make it any less of a thrilling action adventure with plenty of tornado madness. The home cinema version will be released at the end of October as 4K Ultra HD with additional Blu-ray * on Amazon. There will also be a regular Blu-ray * and DVD *.
This is what Twisters is about
After witnessing a devastating tornado during her college years, former storm chaser Kate Cooper (Daisy Edgar-Jones) studies the processes of storms from a safe distance on her computer screen. But her good friend Javi (Anthony Ramos) convinces her to to test a new tracking system in open terrain.
There, the two meet Tyler Owens (Glen Powell), a social media star who is as charming as he is daring, and who likes to present his dangerous hunt for tornadoes with his team on the Internet. As the storm season intensifies, everyone is looking so unprecedented phenomena from several storm systems and must now fight for their survival.

Many critics were enthusiastic after the premiere and described Twisters are sometimes even better than the originalwhile director Lee Isaac Chung’s film also drew comparisons to the blockbuster level of Top Gun: Maverick from the previous year. The review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes recorded an impressive 75 percent of 378 reviews from the trade press as positive.
Twisters will be released for home cinema on October 24, 2024. With the 4K version, you can experience the blockbuster outside of the cinema in the technically ideal version in your home cinema.
