For the team WC in Halmstad 2018, Halmstad profiler Gessle wrote “Name You Beautiful”, which then led to a Swedish WC bronze for the men.
Perhaps they can be inspired anew in an international championship on home soil by Gessle tones. The song was originally released on PG Roxette’s latest album Pop-Up Dynamo. A new version has now been developed for the EC.
“I feel incredibly honored to once again be responsible for the official table tennis song in the context of the EC and WC. This time at the table tennis EC in Malmö, my contribution is called “The Craziest Thing”. Filled with crazy energy and just as effective and quick as a diagonal forehand smash,” says Gessle in a press release.
The EC will be decided on September 10-17 in Malmö arena.
