Sweden’s table tennis men were beaten in the team final against Germany (1–3 in matches) in the European Games in Poland.
Otherwise, it started well for the Swedes.
Truls Möregårdh and Kristian Karlsson won the opening doubles match 3–1 in sets.
After that, there were three straight singles losses for Sweden.
First, Anton Källberg fell 0–3 in his match, then Karlsson fell 2–3 in his, and finally Källberg lost 0–3 in the fourth match.
3–1 in matches to Germany, who salvaged the gold, while Sweden had to settle for silver.
