More than 270,000 Ukrainian refugees have already arrived in Germany – according to official figures. After welcoming one million Syrian refugees 7 years ago, the country is again facing massive migration from a country at war. But this war is different, it is closer for the Germans who, in a great outpouring of solidarity, are mobilizing to help the thousands of women and children who arrive daily in the country.
