The German Christians-democrats, winners of the elections of last Sunday, had this February 28 a first round of negotiations with the Social Democrats, great losers of the same ballot, to constitute a coalition which would be led by the president of the CDU Friedrich Merz. These first meetings were tainted by a violent controversy over a parliamentary question of Christians who did not appreciate that NGOs perceiving subsidies call to demonstrate against them during the campaign.
