Germany blames China for the cyber attack that took place in 2021, in which the information networks of the agency producing map services were penetrated.
Germany has asked the Chinese ambassador for an interview in order to file an official complaint with him.
– We demand that China stop and prevent such attacks, the German Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser commented on Wednesday.
Germany bases its accusations on information gathered by the country’s intelligence service. The Chinese Foreign Ministry has not commented on the claims.
