(Finance) – Unemployment is slightly up Germany to August 2023. The Federal Labor Office notes it, according to which the unemployment rate seasonally adjusted, it rose to 5.7%, higher than the previous month’s 5.6% and equal to analysts’ expectations.
In parallel, there was a growth of 18,000 units in the unemployedagainst expectations for an increase of 10 thousand and after the -4 thousand recorded in July.
The total number of the unemployed (not seasonally adjusted) increases to 2.70 million from the previous 2.62 million. The seasonally adjusted one rises to 2.63 million from the previous 2.60 million.
