The Wok World Cup 2022 will take place on ProSieben on November 12. Some of the biggest German content creators are at the start: Marcel “MontanaBlack” Eris, Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler, Jens “Knossi” Knossala and Sascha “unsympathischTV” Hellinger. The Twitch squad apparently has only one goal in mind: to win by any means necessary.
What is the Wok World Cup? This is a format of the television station ProSieben. In the disciplines “one wok” and “four wok”, more or less well-known personalities slide down a luge track.
However, they do not sit in a toboggan or bob, but in a pan known from Asian cuisine.
The Wok World Championship was brought into being by Stefan Raab in 2003, after which the Wok World Championship took place every year until 2015. Now ProSieben is bringing back the Wok World Cup and a team consisting of German streamers and YouTubers is at the start.
The whole thing will be moderated by Michael “Bully” Herbig, the originally planned Sebastian Pufpaff is out due to a broken rib.

Weak point: Unsympathetic TV – the kilos are missing
WWhat strategy are the streamers pursuing? In a talk (via YouTube), Knossi and unsympathischTV discussed their strategy. They agreed on one thing: they want to win.
“Sascha, I’m with Marcel [MontanaBlack] on the phone, we want to win – that’s no fun,” Knossi opened the meeting. unsympathischTV confirmed that he also wanted to win.
Knossi has already identified a weak point: The slim unsympathischTV simply does not weigh enough. As the lightest of the 4, he will sit at the front of the wok, but Knossi probably fears that that is not enough to race down the slope “at 180”.
However, Knossi’s plan could conflict with the rules:
You have to see that we somehow strap a lead belt around your apron. Look really, I’m really serious. You will sit in front, the strategy is very clear: the lightest in front. But you need a weight belt. We have to see what the rules say.

The streamers are afraid of this team: Ironman competitor Joey Kelly from the Kelly Family will also compete. He has been on the podium of the Wok World Championships several times, in 2004 and 2005 there was gold in the foursome, in 2006 and 2014 he was victorious in the individual.
Knossi apparently considers Joey Kelly to be the most dangerous competition:
He practices and takes it seriously. This is someone who comes and has all the big companies glued to his chest and then it’s off!
It remains to be seen whether the streamers have used the time since their talk to train diligently or whether they will rely on their cheating strategy. It also remains exciting whether MontanaBlack will appear, because 2 days before the event he didn’t seem to be quite sure when it would take place (via Twitter):

While Knossi is concentrating on the weight of unsympathischTV, the Twitch squad could be doomed by a completely different one: MontanaBlack has a terrible fear of heights, which was also shown recently in his stream from the Black Mountains wildlife park.
