A German streamer had a lot planned for the launch of EA FC 24 and confidently presented himself in front of the camera with a baseball bat. However, within a very short time he not only lost his nerve, but also two controllers.
What’s the matter? Noahzett, a German Twitch streamer, initially appeared aggressive for FIFA’s new successor, skillfully twirling around with a baseball bat in his hands.
In one match he had the ball in his own half when the connection between the controller and the console was cut. You can see what happened after a few seconds in the following video clip.
Streamer in a rage: first loses the game, then two controllers
What happened next? In the video you can see Noahzett helplessly searching for explanations as to why his controller isn’t working. Then what had to happen happened.
The opponent took advantage of the situation of his defenseless opponent and scored a goal. The streamer then blew its fuses. Cursing, he briefly turned away from the screen and fired his controller across the room with full force. The impact, presumably against a wall, can be clearly heard and suggests that the controller was affected.
Noahzett quickly wanted to use a replacement, but this controller also thwarted the streamer’s plans. Instead of returning to the game, a window popped up showing the status of the device driver update.
Already irritated, the flight of the first controller was followed by the second.
Another famous streamer didn’t throw controllers around, but his frustration with his idol’s rating in FC 24 really bothered him.
For Noahzett, this brief tantrum had far-reaching consequences, which we will explain to you below in the article.
Streamer vows improvement and places a bet
What were the consequences of the freakout? In the short term, the destruction of his two controllers meant not only the defeat of the game, but the end of EA FC 24, at least for that day, as its supply of gaming hardware was depleted.
Noahzett promised improvement in the long term and documented his emotional reaction in another YouTube video. You can see the full statement about his rage here.
Because the streamer had destroyed one or two controllers in the past, he came up with an explosive bet. In his statement, he first showed a new controller and tied his bet to it, which he recorded in a post for his community on X (formerly Twitter).
If he doesn’t manage to keep said controller intact until EA FC 25, he wants to tattoo an EA logo on himself. He did not clarify where or how big this tattoo would be.
And the streamer also left other smaller loopholes open in his bet. In the statement linked above, he notes that he would rather throw his computer mouse or vent frustration on his set-up with the aforementioned baseball bat.
It remains to be seen whether he will think about this when his anger flares up again.
