German prosecutor: Hamas has weapons stockpiles in Europe for terrorist attacks | News in brief

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, Hamas planned terrorist attacks on German and Israeli targets.

The terrorist organization Hamas has several weapons depots in Europe, says Germany’s public prosecutor.

The Prosecutor’s Office has filed charges against four imprisoned members of Hamas. Two of the accused were born in Lebanon, one is Egyptian and one is Dutch.

Public Prosecutor’s Office announcement according to which Hamas has had weapons stockpiles at least in Denmark, Bulgaria and Poland.

According to the prosecutor, the weapons have been stored for terrorist acts. Targets would have been, for example, the Israeli embassy and Tempelhof airport in Berlin, as well as the Ramstein military base in Germany, says Danish Broadcasting DR.
