Sirens rang out as German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was about to depart for Egypt at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel. Scholz was evacuated from the plane as the sirens rang out and he was taken to the shelter. Other people on the plane took precautions by lying on the ground at the airport.
