Since the first How to Train Your Dragon film in 2010 Butler lends his voice to the Viking King Haudrauf. Haudrauf, the stoic, is the Viking ruler of his village Berk and father of How to Train Your Dragon hero Hicks (US voice: Jay Baruchel). As Entertainment Weekly reports, Gerard Butler will be appearing in front of the camera for the first time in his role in the live-action film.
