With Crank and Crank 2: High Voltage, the director duo Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor created completely crazy action as wild style fireworks. Jason Statham’s quest for the next adrenaline rush was one Series of incredibly excessive scenes with cult potential.
In 2009, the two next released the sci-fi film Gamer, which airs today at 12:00 a.m. on Sat. 1. In the FSK 18 action film, Gerard Butler becomes a rough FSK 18 fireworks sent.

Gamer is like a wacky video game adaptation without a template
In the film’s futuristic plot, developer Ken Castle (Michael C. Hall) created a game in which real convicts as game character avatars in war scenarios controlled and fight for their release. The best avatar is Kable (Gerard Butler), piloted by teenage boy Simon (Logan Lerman) and on the verge of freedom. With secrets that Kable might reveal, Castle will do whatever it takes to let the action hero die.
Even if gamers can’t get the completely wild style of the Crank films, the film is still an unleashed action firework with a mercilessly freewheeling Gerard Butler. Gamer feels like a successful video game film adaptation that is not based on any template at all. There is also Dexter star Michael C. Hall, who happily throws himself into his villain role and is even allowed to perform a grandiose dance routine.
