Geralts voice joins Hunt Showdown

Hunt: Showdown 1.12 update brings many innovations to the game. One of them is the addition of Geralt’s voice, Doug Cockle, to Hunt: Showdown.

Voice actor Doug Cockle, who voiced Geralt, our main character in The Witcher 3, joined the Hunt Showdown and voiced the narrator named John Victor.

Cockle will take its place in Hunt with the 1.12 update coming next week. In this update, the game includes many innovations, including graphics, texture, a part of the menu interface. In particular, the Training mode has been completely revamped. With the participation of Doug Cockle, the game features voiceover for the first time.

What Hunt: Showdown brings in update 1.12

The new content patch, 1.12, is playable on Hunt: Showdown test servers and will be rolled into the real game after testing as usual.

  • Task sequences: Hunt now features a series of thematically related levels that you can complete together as a team for the first time, thereby unlocking rewards such as new weapon variants.
  • Tutorial campaign: Fans of The Witcher will recognize the voice: Doug Cockle, the voice of Geralt, will make a brand new introduction to the game for beginners.
  • Wildcard Contracts: In the Hunt menu, you will be able to choose between day and night times and weather conditions and prepare your equipment accordingly. So you are no longer at the mercy of luck in how the map looks and plays.
  • Solo Missions: Fighting alone against teams will become a little easier in the future.

Crytek is currently developing and updating the Hunt Showdown. It also works on Crysis 4. In addition, the game has Turkish language support.
