What do you see in the trailer? The clip begins with the announcement of the Lantern Rite Festival, a traditional celebration in Liyue.
From 00:16 you can hear Venti, the Anemo god and archon of Monstadt, in the voiceover. He expresses great interest in this year’s Lantern Rite Festival as a music event is planned. Of course, as a bard, he can’t let this opportunity pass him by and hopes to be able to perform as an opening act.
Liyue is under the deity Rex Lapis, who lives undercover as Zhongli in the city. Accordingly, some players are now excited to see how the encounter between the two deities will play out, as this would be the first time that players will be able to see an interaction between the two Archons.

Based on leaks, users also suspect that the empty chair at the beginning of the trailer is intended for Venti. That would put him right next to Zhongli.

Who are the new characters? Alhaitham is a 5-star Dendro element character. He wields a sword and possesses a constellation named “Vultur Volans”

Yaoyao is a 4-star character that also belongs to the Dendro element. She wields a polearm and her constellation is called Osmanthus.
What banners will there be in version 3.4? The first phase will have the event banners with Alhaitham and Xiao as 5-star characters. In the 2nd phase there are reruns from Hu Tao and Yelan. Yaoyao will be featured on the event banners in both phases.
What else will be in version 3.4? Players can expect a new region in Sumeru called “Desert of Hadramaveth” in which a massive tornado is reigning.
In addition to the traditional Lantern Rite Festival, there will be other seasonal events where you can bag some rewards.
The Brilliant Summoning card game will have a limited-time game mode. Finally, there are new outfits for Kamisato Ayaka and Lisa. You will be able to earn the latter during an event.
When will version 3.4 start? From January 18, 2023 the new version of Genshin Impact will start.
