Genesis GV80 Coupe, which will crown the transformation of the brand in recent years, has managed to attract attention with its launched concept form.
As in the Hyundai and Kia duo, the last years we left behind have witnessed important bends for Genesis, which has been in the premium segment. In this period when the first SW model of the brand’s history was launched with the G70 Shooting Brake, we also met the first SUV model of the family with the GV80. Genesis, which comes out of the sedan-focused range that has taken its place in our minds, takes its claim on the SUV side one step higher with the GV80 Coupe project, which it has recently announced. Launched as a concept for now, the Genesis GV80 Coupe will be an alternative to the BMMW X6 and Audi Q8 from the moment it moves into production.

Expectations are high for the Genesis GV80 Coupe
The GV80 Coupe project is actually a complete departure from the standard GV80 in terms of design. Contrary to general examples of this type, the front of the vehicle also differs from the standard version with its rear side in parallel with the Coupe form. The lines used by the Genesis team in the front section bring to mind the transfer from the “X Speedium Coupe” concept. We see that very serious sporting elements are included in the vehicle. These dynamics, which started with the seats, continue with the protection bars in the rear. For now, the vehicle, whose technical data has not been shared, is expected to include a twin-turbo powered 3.5-liter V6 machine under the hood.
