Generali evaluates the sale of the 20 billion euro Life portfolio

Generali Costamagna litigation risk with limited victory in the shareholders

(Tiper Stock Exchange) – generals is evaluating the sale of a Life portfolio of around 20 billion euro as part of a plan to improve profitability, Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the matter.

The company of Trieste could start a sales process as early as Januaryalthough sources said deliberations are ongoing and no final decisions have been made on the size or timing of any deals.

The portfolio includes pre-existing policies from Catholicwhich Generali bought last year, e Genertel.
