Oscar-winning actress Gene Hackman Died as a result of heart disease, the authorities reported on Friday. According to the autopsy, Hackman also had Alzheimer’s disease.
Authorities said the 95-year-old Hackman died about a week after his wife Betsy arakawa had died of lung symptoms caused by Hantavirus. Hantavirus is a rare virus spread by rodents.
Previously, Hackman’s daughter said she suspected her cause of death is carbon monoxide poisoning, but she was already ruled out in the preliminary results of autopsy.
Police found a couple dead at home on February 26 in Santa Fen in the state of New Mexico.
