Censis Ranking Luiss in First Place Among Large Non State Universities

(Finance) – Luiss Guido Carli University, together with Luiss Business School and Luiss Executive Management Education, has achieved the Corporate certification on gender equality, released by theglobal body Det Norske Veritas (DNV) according to the PdR 125:2022 standard. Luiss is the first non-state university to obtain this recognition from an international, external and independent body, which aims to promote the values ​​of diversity and inclusion.

A result – explains Luiss in a note – which is part of a path that began with the approval, in 2022, of the first Gender Equality Plan and of the first Gender Balancefundamental tools to achieve gender balance by enhancing talent inside and outside the University. Among others initiatives to support equalityLuiss has implemented a series of measures in favor of parenting and work flexibility for Faculty and Staff, has encouraged the recruitment, career progression and research activities of Professors and Researchers, has promoted numerous awareness-raising meetings, such as the “D&I Intersections” series of events, and has enriched its educational offering with study courses dedicated to these topics.

“The strong and constant commitment in this direction – the note continues – has progressively contributed to transforming the academic body, which in 2023 saw Associate Professors rise to almost 42% and Researchers to approximately 64% of the total. In the Staff of Luiss, Luiss Business School and LEME, female employees represent approximately 70%. The female student component constitutes 48.5% and international female students are more numerous (57.6%) than their male colleagues”.
