The CEO of Gearbox, Randy Pitchford (53), is a very different type of guy. He is currently struggling with the poor reviews of the new Borderlands film, which is a box office and critical flop. But Pitchford doesn’t seem to want to accept that. Half of the people like the film. Even the Beatles only had a 25% hit rate.
This is the criticism of the new Borderlands movie:
CEO feels incredibly flattered by the criticism
Who sees it differently? Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford is not taking this lying down. He is trying to turn the whole thing into something positive:
“So what you’re saying to me is: you like what me and my friends have done on the Borderlands games even more than you like what the biggest and best cast and crew on the planet have done: I’m super flattered. We’re working extra hard on what’s coming.”
He uses the word “four” to indicate that they are working on Borderlands 4.

Will he:
Things get really absurd when he speaks out in favour of the film and explains:
That’s okay, all opinions are fine. The Beatles had more number 1 hits than any other music group in history, but their hit rate was only 25%.
Pitchford appears to openly threaten journalists
This is also being discussed: Pitchford also seems to be arguing with some journalists again, as he likes to do. He specifically attacks Forbes author Paul Tassi, who shares his confused comments.
Pitchford believes Tassi is “super-obsessed” with him and what his company does. Tassi makes a living by “talking shit” and acting as if he knows Pitchford personally. Pitchford doesn’t like that at all.
But he doesn’t feel like ruining Tassi right now, so he’ll let it go.
The controversial CEO of Gearbox, Randy Pitchford, has already been involved in some absurd controversies, for example over USB sticks that were left lying around. The most absurd accusation against Randy Pitchford so far was that he, the CEO of a multi-million dollar company, is said to have given an employee a wet Flutchi: Borderlands 3: Claptrap spokesman says CEO stuck wet finger in his ear
