Meanwhile, yesterday afternoon, a videoconference interview was held between Minister Franco and the Ukrainian Minister of Finance, Serhiy Marchenko.
During the interview, Minister Franco – the MEF explains – expressed the firm condemnation of the Italian government for the Russian aggression against Ukraine. The Italian government has provided 110 million euros to the Ukrainian government which, Ukrainian Minister Marchenko confirmed, will be used to ensure the normal functioning of the Ukrainian public administration.
Franco then reiterated Italy’s commitment to remain alongside Ukraine on a European and international level.
