The UN Security Council once again failed to agree on the Gaza Strip. The vote in the Security Council on the draft resolution calling for “immediate steps to be taken to temporarily cease hostilities” in the Gaza Strip and “the rapid, safe and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid to the entire Gaza Strip” was postponed for the third time.
While the vote was expected to be held tomorrow, it was stated that the vote was postponed upon the request of the USA. The vote in question has been postponed since last Monday.
