Gaza’s health ministry says Israeli forces are shelling the last partially functioning hospital in northern Gaza.
According to the ministry, all parts of the hospital are under attack.
The northern part of Gaza, controlled by the extremist organization Hamas, has been the target of an intense Israeli attack in recent weeks. Israel has blockaded the area and prevented aid from entering the northern parts of the strip.
UN organizations have previously warned that the population of northern Gaza is in danger of dying.
The Israeli military says it is verifying information about the attack on the hospital.
