President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Hamas Political Bureau Chairman İsmail Haniye at Dolmabahçe Working Office. The meeting started around 14.30 in the afternoon.
During the talks with Haniye, in addition to the steps to be taken for a ceasefire, issues regarding increasing humanitarian aid to Gaza and delivering it more effectively and quickly will also be discussed.
MINISTER FIDAN MEETS WITH HIS EGYPTIAN NUMBER
Egyptian Foreign Minister Semih Şükri met with Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Istanbul. The two ministers held a joint press conference after the meeting.
Minister Fidan used the following statements at the press conference:
“Our priority should be to end the Israeli occupation and implement the two-state solution formula. If this does not happen, the attacks from Yemen yesterday, the Iran-Israel tension today, another type of war tomorrow, another internal turmoil the next day, all of these will continue to happen. We, as Turkey, “We, along with other friendly countries such as Egypt, have always said the same thing from the beginning. If this crisis is not resolved in the way it deserves and the Palestinians are not given the state, independence and sovereignty they deserve, such crises will continue to increase in our region.”
