In Burundi, twenty years ago, on the night of 13-14 August 2004, 166 people were killed in a massacre in the Gatumba refugee camp. All the victims were Banyamulenge, a Congolese Tutsi ethnic group. They had fled the violence targeting them in the DRC. Several legal proceedings have recently been launched, including complaints in the DRC, Burundi and Rwanda.
